Meet the founder
Hi, I’m Jess!
I’m the founder of Girls Abroad and Girls Abroad on the French Riviera. I moved to Nice in 2022 with my fiancé, knowing no one in the area. After trying different ways to meet people, I realised there was a need for a community where young women could connect, make friends, and truly feel at home—so I created Girls Abroad!
I’m 27, originally from England, and I speak French and Spanish. I run a business in event management and catering here on the Riviera, and I also love designing event stationery. In my free time, you’ll find me cooking, hiking, running, skiing, exploring new restaurants, or getting creative with different projects.
I’m so happy you’re here, and I can’t wait to meet you at our next event!
How to get involved
Girls Abroad events are now open to everyone in our Facebook community.
No memberships, no pressure, just a simple ticket price for each event.
From beach picnics and brunches to creative workshops and sunset drinks, every gathering is designed to help you connect with other amazing women and make real, lasting friendships.
Whether you’ve just arrived or you’ve been here for years - you’re always welcome with us.
